Why do I feel soo useless with Psylocke?

Seriously, I cant do anything with her and I am always dead weight with her. she is supposed to be S tier, so what am I doing wrong with her? Can someone do any match reviews and tell me what I am doing wrong? My in game name is same as steam username.

As far as I can tell, Psylocke is a ranged poke hero who is very good at confirming kills with her two dashes and ability to go invisible. You can play safe, contribute damage from range, and then when you see someone weak you go in to try to finish them off.

Then on top of that she has an extremely powerful ult. Not only does it do huge damage in a wide area, you can also instantly position yourself to activate it from an ideal location due to her mobility. Just watch out for Loki, he can counter it with his ability to convert incoming damage into healing around himself and his clones, not to mention he can use his ult to turn into you and use Psylocke's ult against your own team. Luna Snow can also counter-ult you, though trading your ult for her's is not a bad thing since her's is also stupidly strong.

My issue is how squishy she is and how underwhelming her blade dmg is. What can I do about that? I honestly feel getting mvp with psylocke is virtually impossible due to how underhwleming she is compared to iron fist, punisher, and starlord, and how squishy she is.

it's a hard character role, try something easier for your lvl

Be a hard opportunist, only go for sure kills.

Save a charge of dash or your stealth for escape, don't use everything just to close in on your target.

You can also dash vertically.

Other than that, you need to hit your basic shots. It's high dmg and CDR on your other skills. If you can't hit shots, play someone else (or practice up).

there is ur problem ''supposed'' to be s tier stop listening to streamers and play what you want/easier heroes

She’s a really good flanker / assassin type character . Take off angles to find enemies that won’t suspect you . do your left click a couple times , right click , then shift for more damage on them , shift a 2nd time to get away . Repeat .

pretty underwhelming character.
Iron fist is just a far superior version. They really need to either buff her or completely rework

I like Iron fist, He’s fun.

People say he is OP.

But i tend to fall on my face when i play him.

Play a character that suits you and that you play well as.

I'm not a Psylocke player but i play Strategist and she messes up the back line, I feel she kinda works like Wolverine hit the flank or behind where the squishies (healers) are..

Psylocke is best used to poke people and hide, not as a front line fighter.

She is considered top tier in the very high ranks of play. That doesn't mean she will get same value in lower ranks compared to a character like iron fist.

She's a great character, so I guess you just need more practice :)

I've seen great Psylocke players who sneak behind the enemy team and take out their healers, go invisible and scurry back.

I've seen Psylocke players play it safe and stay with their team, attack around corners and still get a decent amount of kills.

It also depends how good your healers are and if you have more than 1, sometimes it's actually not your fault (saying this as a healer main), if there's a solo healer on your team or a new one you may die a lot. It's easy to tell why the team is struggling
