I wouldn't unless it was hitting 100+, but I did have a card hitting 105 on the hot spots and I repasted it with some Noctua Silver and brought em down to 83.
As the other person said, 80 is normal and if you have the Nvidia auto overclocking enabled, I'm pretty sure that's the default temp it targets (or I lowered it to that to prolong lifespan, I can't really remember anymore)
this is not normal.
yeah, it just seems impractical when your 200w GPU runs at the full 200w over CounterStrike because it's running at 200fps.
I remember doing that to overwatch where my 1060 runs at 70w, then it dropped to 45w when i turned on vsync.
No need to run at 200fps if you don't have to.
Maxed out the graphics, uncap fps, gpu uses 279W.
Low graphics, 60 fps limit, 110W.
This game has decent graphics even on low. The game's fast pace also means ugly graphics don't mean much since you're constantly distracted.
