can't buy lattice :(
I have repeatedly turned on and off steam overlay like recommended on both steam and game. I have uninstalled and reinstalled both steam and the game. I have cleared my cache, verified my files multiple times, checked to see if driver has been updated and still nothing. I don't get an error code, it just infinitely loads and that is all! I installed the game on Epic games and the store worked instantly (but you know all my hours are on steam so im not buying on epicgames) so its definitely a steam issue (i hope its not just me) :steamsad:

I just wanna know if they're aware and working on it, i'll be patient, i just hope im not on my own on this one, seeing how everyone appears to be getting their's fixed with the solutions I've tried already...

Its happening for me too! Hopefully they'll release a fix when the winter event comes in a few days!

I have the exact same issue, tried all of the advice and none of it works. I wish there was cross progression, I would just play on epic instead until its fixed...

Have you charged your Steam Wallet? The game seems to take your money from there instead of the normal payment method.

I had the same issue and I fixed it following this YouTube video. You have to ENABLE the STEAM OVERLAY so the Steam window can popup for lattice purchases.
Steam -> Settings -> In-Game -> Enable the Steam Overlay

Yeaaa I have... just "loads" when I select the amount I want :(

I used the video and it worked for me! I had the same issue with the endless loading. Strange how it's not working for others though...

yeah unfortunately I tried all of it in the video, even uninstalling steam, which caused me to lose all of my downloads, and it still didnt work.

wait, when you got to appdata\local\ do you see the "Marvel" file in there? for some reason it isn't there for me, so I wonder if there is a correlation.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but is the issue where attempting to purchase the coins is that Overlay is simply not loading at all?

If it is: Open task manager and set overlay priority to high. Or see if you can get it open to a web browser instead. It's definitely a steam issue, this isn't the only game where overlay struggled.

the overlay doesn't open, its not that it isn't loading. it does in other games. how do I set the priority of the overlay to high in task manager? and I am not sure how I would get it open in a web browser either.

Someone on Reddit just solved the issue for me and it was so much more simple than I thought... Are you on your admin account on PC or on a different account? I switched to my admin account and opened the game, the overlay worked instantly!

damn I'm sorry :( well considering how many people are going out of their way to figure out what the issue is, hopefully the dev team will notice and fix a better solution/the bug itself
