I crash as often as he does and I have been forced to do the same thing (close and re-open the game). I did find a dev article last night about GPU crashing and they have a GPU logging mode you can enable from the launcher. However, it tanks your FPS so bad that it makes the game pretty much unplayable. And by tank I mean that I cap my FPS at 138 (to ensure Gsync is always active) and I stay at 138 without budging at at all times. As soon as I turn on the logging mode, I'll sometimes drop into the 40's for FPS. It is crazy how big of a perf hit it is.

then in the program settings tab find and add the "marvel.exe" with the "CFG" settings to off (make sure the box is checked to override system settings)
2. add the whole game folder to the exeptions in windows defender

what the heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeell
There's a memory leak which causes a crash (Game was using 50GB of RAM at one point), a crash when the game tries to load certain .pak files and 2-3 general UE5 crashes.
It'll be a hardware issue for some people, but for most of us it's just UE5 being unstable.
* Delete NVIDIA App completely (You can keep Geforce Experience But if using new app remove it)
* Turn Off Steam Overlay
* Revert To Driver NVIDIA Game Ready Driver 561.09
* In Win11 Under Windows Security - Ensure "Memory Integrity" is enabled and On.
Doing these 4 things stopped all my crashes in both Rivals and Gray Zone..

UPDATE 2: -------- I forgot i also set a custom page file of 10,000 and removed it off my OS drive, so its on another SSD/NVME - This is changed in Win Advanced System Settings - Performance Tab.
Then, when transitioning to the next round, my game completely freezes. However, I can still hear the sounds of the lobby, including the countdown and other players. When I try to open Task Manager, it also freezes, and eventually, my entire PC becomes unresponsive. The only way to shut it down is by using the power button, and in some cases, I’ve had to unplug my PC for a while to get it to restart properly.
This has happened five times in a row now. Yesterday, I played for hours without any issues, and nothing has changed in that time—no NVIDIA driver updates, no settings changes, nothing. I’ve tried every fix I could find online except overclocking my RAM (which seems like overkill for a game).
I really hope the developers come up with a solution soon because I’ve been absolutely hooked on this game.
