Marvel Rivals doesn't allow AutoHotkey scripts

Hello just want to point out the game blocks the use of autohotkey scripts. Autohotkey scripts can be used for things like auto-walk (keeping W key pressed), this is an accessibility feature for people with wrist issues. I use it in most games with a long of time pressing W key such as Overwatch and RPGs.

Sounds like carpel tunnel, you should stop playing as you are just doing more damage, go to a doctors, have surgery and spend 6 months in physio and you should be able to press 'W' without a problem.

Moaning about not allowing a feature that prevents a players advantage instead of taking care of your own physical health is stupid (not an accessibility feature as you are using a script outside of the game as accessibility features are built in to games)

yes, it can be used for people with wrist issues, BUT it has also been used as a way to cheat. Which explains it not being able to be used.

No, it's clearly because this can, and is, easily exploited by cheaters to perform combos they can't actually do on their own.

Being sh*t at video games is not a disability, that's who often abuses and ruins these sorts of things for those that genuinely require some form of accessibility adjustment in order to even play at all.

No, it's clearly because this can, and is, easily exploited by cheaters to perform combos they can't actually do on their own.

oh boy, people can use a highly accessible software to gain a marginal advantage in a cartoon game. i personally don't care if a small fraction of players need scripts to play well, they suck and thats their problem. How many scripters and cheaters do you honestly think you run into in these games? If you play every game worrying about whos cheating/using scripts, you need to go outside and breathe some air. Not everyone who plays video games care/know about these things. Come to think of it, i honestly cant think of a useful script you could make in this game that would give you so much of an advantage that it warrants crying over

Hey look, I found the person that has no self respect and promotes the use of cheats because they lack the will power to practice or develop their abilities, and instead of acknowledging their lazy attitude they pretend nothing deserves to be taken seriously because if it was they would be forced to accept their behavior is pathetic and that being an unskilled cheater is genuinely more sad than living in your parents basement at the age of 30.

That limits you to a very small amount of characters since only a few don't require aim.

How lazy do you have to be to need something to press W for you? If not lazy, then you are looking for a way to cheat.

If you really have 'wrist issues', then go find another game that does not require manual dexterity, precision and quick reactions. Stop asking for everybody else to play down to your level.

I am older than the majority of players in this game. My reflexes are not what they used to be. After decades of working in information technology my wrists have 'issues' too. But, I don't demand that everybody else slow down or aim as poorly as I do. I just man up and do the best I can.
