Main protagonist issues

Why everyone wants to play dps, and think they're the main protagonist in the game? Honestly, i never played overwatch, and this is the first hero shooter that i actually try to play to get a Elo/League(idk the name). Im currently platinum 3, was platinum 2 earlier today, but ive been getting games that just looking at it, is already a loss at the character selection, 3 dps, 4 dps, and somehow we still end up having no damage... Im just frustrated, im more frustrated because i feel like theres no communication in the game. Ive been on a loose streak which is a Win loss 1/3, and for my losses, i think every 1 out of 10 is a game that people are actually playing the roles properly... The other are a loss on character selection already, and playing a game that you know its already lost and still trying to win makes me very frustrated...

For some reason they keep spitting out these hero shooters even though they all have the same flaws.

Someday devs will get a clue and realise no one likes support.

Im a support/tank main, i really like helping my team, and this game has 18 duelists(dps), which is half of the character roster, and how can a "dps main" not be good with none of them?

Play support > have no good DPS > switch to DPS > have no support.


You claim you're Elo stuck (elo hell), but you're plat 3. The average player doesnt even have a rank yet.

You're an above average player. Stop overthinking the games, and just play :D

I dont play dps, unless i have to, and i gotta say i do a "decent" job as a dps, i know who to kill, when to go in, when to go back, and i barely rely on the healers, because i use the map heals effectively, including when im dueling against other duelists.
Tbh im just frustrated and venting, ive been on platinum since idk, a week ago?(Yeah i do have a lot of freetime atm). So yeah i think im above average as you said. Still doesnt change the fact that its really awful, playing a game that you know its probably already gonna be a loss from the get go... And its even worst trying to win, instead of just giving up.

I do. Main them in every game. People just have to stop suffering from main character syndrome.
For OP: stop soloqueing and find a good premade of 6 players. This way you know they are listening and are actually on the same page. I did, and we're all almost diamond

i sure hope that when that time comes they don't do it like overwatch and make supports stupidly broken :D
