I'm focusing only on AW and the window for reviving teammates. How much time do you get to press Q after your teammates die? In quite a few matches, I've seen a few teammates die, I can see their icon and a grey timer (I'm guessing its a timer), I press Q, and nothing. Is range also a factor? During an escort, the next checkpoint was about to be opened. Teammates die, I press Q from the other side of the checkpoint, and nothing. Am I expected to preemptively pop the revive? It doesn't last long, so what gives?

Before you press Q you will see in the bottom right the icons of the teammates within range of the initial Q press. When you hit Q you will revive all teammates within range and set up a sort of "respawn beacon". After your Q activates and allies in range revive you will see a 9 second timer count down to the right of your crosshair. Within those 9 seconds any friendly that dies within range will be revived at that "respawn" you set earlier. So you could set the "respawn" around a corner, push in with your team, and then anyone that dies in those 9 seconds near you will revive. Also, if a teammate dies close by but not in range you can move into their icon before they respawn naturally and it will snag them with your ability.
