I haven't seen anyone posting videos about this so I assume it is just a bug for a few of us?

are u playing borderless ?
Sonrangeri Dec 16, 2024 @ 1:58am
Do you have Vsync on?
Noodles Dec 16, 2024 @ 2:02am
having the same issue, tried fullscreen, borderless, vsync on/off, fps limit at 240 worked for a few days now i'm capped at 60 again, tried changing max fps and other settings in nvidia control panel, tried uncapping the game with rivatuner statistics server and none of these things have helped, the game is hard capping at 60fps whenever it feels like it day by day

Not normal. Is your monitors 60Hz and you have V-SYnc on? Then no matter what you do the FPS will never go above 60.

Must something wrong with your setup. If I disable V-Sync I get 199 FPS. Currently playing at 60 FPS (v-sync enabled).

Borderless Windowed, 60 FPS (v-sync turned on)
Borderless Windowed, 199-200 FPS (v-sync turned off)

on linux i was able to get the fps above 60fps by toggling vsync. on windows the issue still won't resolve itself

make sure Frame Rate Cap in Game Settings is not set, check Power Management Settings make sure set it to "High Performance" in the Windows power settings, NVIDIA Control Panel Settings Ensure that no settings in the NVIDIA Control Panel are limiting your frame rate. Check the "Manage 3D settings" section and look for options like "Max Frame Rate" that might be set to 60 FPS check Game Optimization Software: Some game optimization tools (like GeForce Experience) may impose limits on frame rates. Check if any such software is adjusting your game settings also make sure if you have built in Gsync etc built in monitor that its not turned on. if u on AMD gpu then look in your AMD software vs the Nvidia stuff lol.

same porblem my fps is 200 in settings and 60 or below in game vsync off fullscreen

I had to turn on ''Frame Generation Mode'' in the settings for me to remove the 60 FPS lock.
