PSA: game has Mouse Smoothing and Mouse acceleration on by default
Since it’s been discovered that the game uses Mouse Acceleration, with no in-game means of disabling, I felt it prudent to share this information with the community. I have found doing so to be incredibly helpful after watching my crosshairs cover allies/enemies with no hit detection from my hit-scan characters.

Please, make sure to add the below text to the bottom of the “GameUserSettings” file.

Path - C:\Users"yourname"\appdata\local\marvel\saved\config\windows

[/script/engine.inputsettings]
bEnableMouseSmoothing=False
bViewAccelerationEnabled=False

Thanks for the information - disabled now.

EDIT: "Disabled" and noticed no difference, which lends evidence to what is said below. I'm removing the settings as they appear to do nothing.

People keep posting this, even though it's disprovable by literally two seconds of testing. Flick your mouse out, then move it slowly back to the original position. You'll end up in the same place, and that wouldn't happen with mouse acceleration in play.

these commands don't work

you have to edit the file to readonly after making changes

I repeat, these commands don't work, regardless if you make it ''read only'', because the game does not recognize these commands, because they don't exist.
In other words, these commands do nothing, they don't disable mouse acceleration at all.
I can type fjweopfiweoighwoihtwerpitjhwierhoi and say it works.

I can usually tell if a game has mouse acceleration on and I can't notice with this game at all, so I'm confused by a lot of people's agreement on the subject. I also do the flick test and don't see any changes mouse acceleration would do.

You need to add a tiny script into the ini fulll.. This article explains it very well with proper images if you need. https://clawsomegamer.com/marvel-rivals-how-to-turn-off-mouse-acceleration-for-better-aim/

I noticed it the first time i started the game.

Aiming in this game isn't very reliable.

this game just has unbearable input lag from all the lumen trash flooding the render pipeline, if you run the game in ultra potato mode with engine ini tweak the aiming is 50 times better, cause you quite literally remove 300ms of input lag by removing so many things to calculate each frame and doubling to tripling your fps, i get 80fps on low without tweak and 220fps with tweaks but the game looks awful

My mom grew potatoes, and now I have a PC. I have printed with cursed cheese crackers.
