The answer is to flank with your team. If you are staying in the back where nobody is around you're really not doing your job as a support, unless you're a sniper from the back like Loki. If you need to keep up with your flankers use a mobile hero like Jeff, Luna or Mantis. Even if your DPS are all running around diving you can easily keep up with them.
Lower Ranks don't need a ban phase because nobody in lower ranks can use meta heroes to their fullest power.
So let me get this straight...
You lost a 2v1... repeatedly, without learning what you did wrong, then came on here and cried that healers need a nerf.
Why do people not realize that just because one person is a healer, it's still a 2v1?
Funny how no one ever seems to complain about losing to two dps, or two tanks.
I've been killed more by solo healers than dps. they need a nerf, too many of them have passive heals and crazy dps
The first sentence only. That's literally the point of healers in any game. Skill issue.
Big gatling gun does the equivalent of slapping someone with a wet paper towel, but then Mantis hits you in the head with a ball of leaves and you lose 40% of your health in one shot.
I mean, Jeff's ult is cancer to play into. Fine. I think it needs to be dramatically weakened or changed, but he'll need something to not be bad after that. Maybe heal over time on the stream or something.
But nerfing other supports and not Mantis? Everyone will just play Mantis all the time forever.
An example of strong healing would be luna on a cooldown, but again she's horrible against dives because of self healing but has CC to stall/secure the attacker and adam with his chain heal being his only heals but they are huge and he has a damage share which makes him and the team tanky for anti dive and pressure both are really strong but charge/cooldown dependant. Loki's is really awesome but long cooldown and only way to self heal that can also be destroyed. So what you are seeing here is healers need each other to cover their weaknesses, healers who actually heal each other make supporting the team trivial but while healers like to blame tanks and dps they need to pay attention to their partner in supporting crime.
Oh and before I forget, cloak and dagger are POWERFUL, burst HPs and sustain HPs and a way to avoid jeff of all things.
thank god we have someone with a brain in this discussion and not coping for their own biased role. has anyone here seen the video of 3 punishers ulting and unable to kill a cloak and dagger standing in her ult?
Go to the marvel page or whatever hero skill page that gives you numbers and look how much dagger bubble heals. Your overall damage and accuracy is poor if your team can't remove her from the point just because of the bubble.
I am tired of the baseless accusations of not healing.
I am tired of someone having a go at me for not healing when i was next to them... and they don't even consider it could be a Loki clone.
I'd be happy just to keep the tricks, reduced DPS lose the healing.
Then people can return to hating on the vanguards/ tanks.
Never ever will it be the DPS at fault. And even then i won't blame DPS.
Remove stats, remove healing and just get immersed into the fight.
