To me this is not a good enough option. Giving money is way more awkward than a gift. Rivals and other games are really missing the mark here. I would get a skin for every one of my friends that play the game for Christmas if it were an option.

Usually I won't spend money on cosmetics for myself (made an exception for Marvels), especially at the kind of prices they go for, but for someone else? Absolutely. Let's get with the times, shall we? We are living in an increasingly online world, but there are many people out there that don't want to do the equivalent of 'gift cards', we want to give actual gifts.
