stuck at 99 percent

anyone else having a issue where for like 3 or so minutes you're just stuck at 99 percent?, i can hear the announcer and the other players and have this game installed on a SSD i even dropped the setting to its lowest then verified the files and still have this issue

try alt+tabbing out of the game and seeing if theres a window that popped up telling you it crashed

nah its not a crash cause it does eventually load in it just takes till like..the match is half-way over

for me it helped to set super smaple resolution to AMD FSR performance and set resolution to 0
But its still not perfect
(im running a radeon 580 gpu)

I have the same problem, and when it has loaded I can't see myself as a character and neither can the others for about 1-2 minutes. This game is complete rubbish and just makes you angry. I set everything to low and then I get 1 FPS. Normally I get 100-150 FPS, but this game is completely broken and is no fun at all

oh yeah i can't see myself for like 1-2 minutes either and it sucks ass as a support player since during that time the game doesn't register your healing

i was hoping the past couple of patches were optimization, but its mainly bug fixes and sprinkles of content/events.

i'll just have to wait longer for any signs. I really, Really dont want to play overwatch again.

Still having this issue and when I do eventually load in im invis and so is everyone else for a few mins... now Im not even being loaded into the game. Last game I played I sat through the whole match on 99 lol

Iv'e been having this issue with every match that i play, I'ts honestly discourging me from playing this game because of this issue, I WANT to like this, I WANT to PLAY the game but i CANT because of this stupid ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ issue, i cant tell if its my internet, my computer, or just the game

yeah i WANT to play this game to but the 99 percent loading issue is just discouraging me to actually play it, i'm not gonna uninstall it in hopes they fix it or something but still

I JUST had this issue, making me check the discussions to see what's up. Granted, it's the only time it has happened in several hours of play time, but it's really irritating because it screws your team over since you can't even leave so someone else can join up.

Same issue here, last twice games, i never enable to join, stil in 99% loading screen.
Game on a M2 nvme with 32 Go ram.

I just assumed it's some combination of my Nvidia GPU and running it via Proton, but I get the 99% bug every match. Tried multiple versions of Proron, SSD's and filesystems to troubleshoot but still have it.
