Smoke Screen Achievement Help
Edit - Got the achievement. Literally no different than any other match I was in. Could not tell what was different for when it finally popped. And in the one it finally did, several of my KOs came from actually pinging the opponent with the smoke grenade, not from bullet damage.

Hey, can anyone who has the achievement clarify what is needed for it. Do you need to be in the smoke, or does the enemy have to have to be in the smoke? I've done countless matches where I defeat way more than 3 enemies who have been affected by the smoke grenade, but I never get the achievement after the match. So I'm wondering if they have to be actually inside the cloud of smoke for the 2 seconds it is there because it really appears that it isn't good enough to have simply been affected by the smoke and marked red.

I have also tried the different game modes. I know achievements can't be acquired in the AI matches, but apart from quick play I tried getting the achievement in Competitive and Conquest as well with no luck.

And while I'm asking questions, does anyone have any tips on getting Squirrel Girl's achievement as well? Her special is terrible. I'm lucky to get 1 kill, let alone 3, before the squirrels just bounce off in a direction totally away from the enemy. She is my favorite character, but I swear she has the single worst special in the game.

Maybe they changed it. I got it before the most recent patch, and when I did finally get it, at least one of my KOs was from the grenade hitting the opponent.

for squirrel girl, i remember a patch update that said it would count the kills for the achievement if they died within, i think it was, 3 seconds of the ult hitting them. to make it easier i used it in team fights in more choke point areas going for those payload maps as the point capture was too open and people spread out more on those maps. though, it also takes a little luck as i got it within a few tries of going for that one. that's the best i got for her.

Yeah, I got the achievement post-patch. It seemed to actually make it a lot easier to get. The make I got it on was the Hydra Base Domination map. There was a nice choke point right at the mission area where the opponents come from. I've gotten it a few times since, and it's almost always on Domination maps, so that's where I'd recommend those who still don't have it to try.

Im getting it on cart maps(asgard), lot of narrow thin passages...

Btw, they say that 3+ enemies must be hit by that ult, before first bounce and then if you kill them within 2 seconds(those 3+ hit by the ult), you get it...guess

That might've been the case before the recent patch. But I can confirm that when I got it, the squirrels very clearly only hit a single enemy before bouncing. they then got caught in a tiny hall and ricocheted repeatedly, eventually hitting 2 other enemies. I also can confirm that they just need to tag 3 people, not KO them. I knocked out 1 or more of the enemies with my regular attack.

It's definitely significantly easier to trigger now at least, and I think that's reflected in the global achievements, because it's no longer the least obtained achievement. Instead it's the other one I've had a ridiculous amount of difficulty with, Wolverine.

Well I ment it as, you hit them with ult(not kill them) and finish them with basic attacks(and they must be hit by ult "first" wave)

Wolverine is actually quite easy mainly if you have good healer/healers, if not then you need to have literally all abilities and even passive ready guess(I should try to do it again with only in games with bad healers if its doable like that tho, but you get eventually good healers so the first way is ez then)

Generally you need to go into enemies and ideally make them stick into one "ball", while attack them with basics and build up rage and ofc use the dmg reduction skill, when you have max rage or enemies are low hp you ult and its most of time done(getting one and then falling on others is quite unreliable tho, so its ideal if you can make one ball of enemies - ulting in right moment, several games I just ulted when I could and result was not satisfactory, while laters I had several perfect opportunities to do it 100%, but ult was not ready)

PS: for wolverine you may need to get triple, not just KOs, I got double and 3 KOs with single use and I didnt get it, then I got 5 KOs and triple and got it...so either this or you need to get 3 KOs when going up or down only(but this one took me quite low effort and time compared to others, but ofc knowing exactly what need to be done helps a lot...for example black panther need triple and magic/cap need 3 KOs)
