If UE5 is the new game-industry standard it's doomed
I'm not looking forward to all these game companies adopting UE5 as an industry standard if the performance is going to run like ♥♥♥♥. I thought games like STALKER2 was the exception because the graphics looks more high fidelity, but for a game like Marvel Rivals to run like ♥♥♥♥, and have to rely on some fancy AA settings (Nvidia DLSS, etc.) to make the game semi-playable with frequent frame drops/stutter & grainy textures everywhere, is honestly making dread all these upcoming games glamorizing UE5. UE5 is not it...

This engine need some time for devs to get used to.
A lot of developers struggling to optimize it properly with new games.

your pc is not capable of running ue5 and thats fine, i get 250fps at 2k on high with no stutters. Cosinder upgrading your rig.

UE is an engine, not a standard.
Game makes frame drops and can have low FPS at any engine. Reasons are: bad code, bad optimisation decisions. As an example, for UE5, I can make a blueprint or C++ code in like 10 minutes and this code can freeze 4090 RTX.
Developers just do not do their jobs and that's it. Why should they? You're still buying it.

Engine is trash, welp we play what we must but junk is junk. I never thought I'd prefer Unity over Unreal but UE5 changed my mind.

I want Valve to give Source 2 access for everyone.

So buy an Nvidia card like you're supposed to.

AMD is trash.

i was running a 3060 not even less than a week ago and was having some issue running it at 60-80 fps and lots of stutters, just upgraded to a 4070 and now i never dip below 120 fps. Its almost like UE5 is a fairly new engine for more demanding and newer games , time to upgrade man.

dont be ignorant, Engines are not pack and play like that the ones behind the screens using it need to learn all of its features how to implement properly and fine tune it, Epic knows and understands their engine hence why i run 200+fps on fortnite no drops no issues, but what i do not understand is i am on a 5 year old 2080ti / 9900k overclocked 5.0Ghz all cores 1440p and still get 130-170fps no crash no stutter nothing, yet some of u with newer specs are like BAAAAAD CRASH LAG.

cheap and best tool to fire old devs because you can replace them , any way now it intergate with Ai, if you think visual coding was trash now it's Ai,

The manger will just look to fast and cheap way, no one gonna care about optimization anymore and whitch best apreach to do thing.

Sad reality

and the GPU crashes. my god! it's like an incurable illness. you look that ♥♥♥♥ up on google and no one knows why it happens or even how to fix it. all they can give is rudimentary tech support advice that almost never works or solves anything. the equivalent of restart the router.

LMAO! they been trying to optimize UE4 for almost a decade now and they still can't get their games to not crash. 😂

People used to look at unity down because of mobile folbs games , now with UE because of bad optimization and assets hell engine that's why a lot of crypto games use UE.

I use Nvidia RTX, I never have issues.

AMD is not good and the market cap speaks to this.

never had an issue playing any game with AMD, and ive been AMD since Athlon 2 and radeon was its own entity
Only people I see online ever say they don't have issues with AMD hardware though.

IRL everyone I know with AMD products has issues.

Also, if my RTX can RayTrace, it can also run at super high frames, and also use DLSS, and also and also and also.

It's not either or, it's "it does." Flat out.

"I can get 225FPS but you only have 200!"

Anyone who thinks that matters is wrong.

i mean... its true ive never had an issue with drivers or hardware from AMD, maybe im lucky idk...

as with NVIDIA i just refuse to be their patron when they price gouge so blatantly and unapologetically... not to mention their proprietary crap that stifles community fixes and 3rd party cooperation

and with intel... well... AMD Ryzen is just... better, especially for games with the 3DX tech, for now at least

and when it comes to FPS, why would you want 250fps, if your monitor is 144hz? etc

Yes, Nvidia is evil.

AMD is still not good.
