Not every multiplayer experience you lose in is the result of cheaters. That mindset is one of defeatism and pessimism. It won't get you very far.
As for OP... I would throw your hat back in the ring and give it another try. SBMM (Skill Based Match Making) needs some time to adjust to player skill. As you play more matches the game should have increased data to draw from so as to provide you with fairer matches. Best of luck.
Ignoring the fact that more than half of players (on PC at least) cheat won't get you very far either. If anything, it'll drive you crazy.
Granted, that means you might have a cheater on your team too, but if you're not cheating, you automatically reduce the odds of your team winning.
It's messed up, honestly, and why I just stick to quickplay. Sure there's cheaters there too but they're generally drawn more towards competitive so they can get an imaginary rank and stroke their e-♥♥♥♥.
It's just way too easy to cheat in PC games, and has been since the beginning. Only difference now is that kids pay for their cheats, which is hilarious to me.
How many people do you personally know that cheat, compared to those that do not? Use some simple math and extrapolate. It is statistically impossible that half of the players that play games cheat.
i did not say im going to give up on the game i been through way worse back in overwatch 2 im just likely feeling frustrated cause of my current living conditions playing games in the summer can REALLY increase stress and frustration levels
it just would be nice if i got a match that was not a total pup stomp
i really don't like what SBMM and EOMM did to most games ( kinda why i like Xdefiant when it was around but now its gone and its back into the algorithm casino i go yay......)

Do you genuinely think that 51%+ cheat on pc? You sound like someone who plays like a bot then gets rolled.
Do you not realize how outrageous your prediction is? More then half of PC players!? You do know console is just as bad for cheaters these days? Look on Amazon and it tells you how many controller adapters are selling. These supposedly boost aim assist and give you macros. The difference being, cheaters get banned on PC. They don't on console.
It's more like 1 in every 100 probably cheat. Maybe even less. I've not seen a single cheater in Marvel Rivals, and I've played almost 200 games. I'm good at noticing them to, since I watch a lot of Call of Shame.
thanks for the offer but i would proberly make your experiance worse since im from Western Australia sure i can adapt to 300ms of ping diffrnece but im sure others would prefer i stick to my own region
He's just stating facts. Like half of any competitive playerbase cheats. Ive played when cheating was impossible for the avg loser and turns out, game felt way more realistic. Every single person isnt suddenly way better today, they just cheat.
Don't get me wrong, It's not that I disagree... it's just not a mindset that will get you very far. It is akin to complaining about how most of the wealthy families move money within their own ecosystem keeping the poor disenfranchised.
As someone who has played games since OG Quake, CS Source, and King's Quest on Floppy, I get that the average player skill has gone up in a way incomparable to the rate of progress we saw during the height of some of the OG games. But equating all improvements to cheating is not really feasible as much as it might console you. There have been massive improvements to technology, E-sports is a household idea now, and there are plenty of kids who play games with the sole intention of becoming one of the best or with goals to stream (often requiring a certain level of adequacy). As much as many of us grew up as games did, these kids have grown up when gaming is at its height of popularity, so there are more people playing which also increases the potential skill floor.
It's a multi varied and complex problem that definitely has given rise to more cheaters as the incentives to cheat are much greater as well (fame, money, notoriety, etc). But, thinking that there is no reason to play or any way that you can improve centres back to my original point: it is a pessimistic and defeatist mindset that will not aid in your enjoyment or improvement.
