Peni Parker so buns

She's one of the better heroes. Her mines is what makes her dangerous, and counters any melee heroes from just diving in with the threat of instant death. If you are playing offense, Peni is not the best choice and you will need to rely on another Tank to set up. But on defense, she can easily solo tank

Also she is NOT meant to be D.Va, that's just her design. If you want D.Va, look at Hulk.

You just need to get used to her, place a web on the floor, connect to it, an extra 200 shield. Place your Spider Nest round corners so it cant be hit. I like her as a tank but only on certain maps, not all maps suit her.

Peni is a really good zone control character. If you think she's buns it's because you're using her wrong.
She also has one of the few reliable stuns in the game to stop ults like Scarlet Witch and Thor and can also peel for teammates because of it.

Peni's best if you play her like a TF2 engie before he could haul his buildings thanks to her having a cooldown if the hive is damaged before you blow it up to move it.

If your team knows what it's doing and can back you up on keeping enemies distracted from blowing it up though, someone blundering in can get completely melted from a combo of constant spider bots and a few mines tossed in randomly to be harder to dodge thanks to the web camouflaging them. Coupled with HP regen and how missed stuns become areas you can use for healing mid-fight, she has surprisingly good durability.

Nah shes a really good carry/support tank. She has solid auto damage, a stun, she can gap close on back line. and dive with her ult.. she can dive counter with her mines and zone objectives. Fantastic character just a different type of vanguard.

It's 150, and connecting isn't necessary and I personally never do it

Stay on or with the point and move the turret as need and stay in it's web. Spam mines and when the mines are on cooldown that's when you shoot

Peni isn't even close to being a DVA clone. "Girl in mech suit" is not exclusive to DVA in the slightest.

As for how good Peni is, she's a fantastic zone holder, you just have main character syndrome thinking every character you try should be the one and only carry.
Peni's job is to force her way in and defend a location for her team, it's not to just soak up damage like Magneto or Strange, or dive the backline like Venom or Thor. She sits on a point and guards it with her life. It gives her a unique gameplay compared to all the other Vanguards.

Peni could be a Dva Clone, also the Hulk is a 1 to 1 Winston Copy, im not kidding, Hulks abilities are 1 to 1 identical to Winston, only difference is he becomes bruce banner instead of dying, and has a pistol instead of a nipple pleaser.
