disable crossplay

Is there any way to disable crossplay?

Almost all the time I am playing with console players and IDK, my team plays like they got aim assist off and enemy got literal aimbot.

Wait, THIS is why I suddenly had enemies just sniping me on the move from thousand miles away?

I just started playing, after winning first two quick matches, suddenly had a player who was playing like others (moving around without jumping, just casually strafe here and there but so easy to aim for), but had an amazing aim adjusting to bunny jumping easily. I thought it was some pro player I encountered, but now I'm second guessing those perfect shots he didn't miss.

How do you tell they are console players? Is there an icon to see who's on gamepad?

I swear it was insane. I was doing quickmatch with random people who were playing really good, until this one guy in third match with uberaim suddenly showed up, making us all look like we've never played a shooter in life with M+K.

There are a lot of factors that go into this. Like how accurate is what you see? How accurate are the replays? Might it be some sort of mechanics?

That said, I can tell you that I already encountered an aimbotter (with likely wallhack) in the game.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not claiming to be a pro player. I used to play Quake 3 and last MP game I played was SWAT 4 between 2005-2020, so I have a huge gap and I'm sure new gen kids are way better.

But this guy was just casually walking around, not even bunny hopping, and he was not missing many shots. It was crazy change of pace since I didn't encounter anyone like this in previous matches.

I don't know if he was a really good player or just a gamepad player now. THIS is why you should not have crossplay. I can't tell who's actually good and who's just a aimbot with a gamepad.

I hope to god it's just the replays being weird while watching someone on console. Otherwise, they need to turn down the aim assist. I've seen so many get shots off then it's over an inch away from the cursor.

A lot console players at higher levels are literally aimbotting, because the aimassist does it for them. Although XBOX/PS cheating is possible, it is rather rare!
Any aimassist in Crossplay should be turned off - it is just unfair to PC players, as the advantage is too big!

Separating lobbies would be good idea. If you want aim assist, you can't play with KB/M users and vice-versa.

Yeah after playing a few more matches, watching spectator cam, I can see a lot of these "good" players just quickly snapping views from one person to another. It isn't a snap from mouse usage, even melee players are crazy accurate with multiple moving targets near them.

Gonna be honest, why would any PC gamer play this trash after learning that you have console gamers with aimbots ON right next to you?

The issue remains. If it wasn't crossplay, I would say they were just good players (I try not to assume everyone is hacking), but with gamepad aimbot legally allowed in-game, nah, this blows.

Yes, god forbid I'd like to have some fun in the few hours free time I have without being forced into ranked player or some other BS no-lifer requirement.

So, if I can't select "noobs only, please", at least let me select "no aim bots just because consoles are a hardware joke".
