Magneto has been my favorite so far, feels very cool to block an ult and then send a spear of metal across the video game and dumpster them
They really just made this game for DPS to shoot fish in a barrel.
I do enjoy Peni's zone control though and have been loving Magneto's frontlining abilities.
I feel the FOV being set at like 60 by default is what makes melee feel bad. I'm stressed out even if i got loads of kills.
This is the unfortunate/fortunate truth.
Fortunate because it is a fun mechanic. A tank won't feel like it can do anything on its own, but given decent team support, you'll own the match.
Unfortunate because most people don't understand/don't want to play as a team, meaning you'll rarely see a tank at its full potential.
Honestly, you couldn't pay me enough to work on a game like this. You can't balance a team based game when over 90% of your players don't play as a team. That's why we always end up with weird adjustments and patches and then the game ends up falling apart.
Most players just want to play a team deathmatch kind of game, which is fine, but I wish they'd go find those games and play them instead of trying to force change on the game that wasn't made for them.
It's all "this is a team game so you're reliant on the other classes".
Until DPS heroes start to die too much. Then they complain until they're buffed and made self sufficient enough to get kills and live.
But tank? Don't even dare to think you should be sturdy on your own, let alone get kills. Because the second DPS can't kill you easily, or you can kill them reliably, they complain and the devs will come for you.
EVERY hero shooter, the power creep flows to the DPS role.
And then everyone sheepishly looks at their feet and are like "but WHY is every game 5 insta-lock DPS?" yet they wont lift a finger to address the cause and will break out into mental gymnastics as to why tanks should not be buffed.
In the sense that if your duelist and strategist are dumb you're going to likely have a bad time. Doubly so if you're the only vanguard.
Hulk's jump needs to charge faster, his 15 SECOND stun cooldown needs to be completely changed to a rock throw that does an aoe stun and also damages to justify the 15 second cooldown (Peni's stun is 3 second cooldown and you can also use it to heal her which is just ridiculous), his Monster form needs to stop knocking people back when you hit them as it gives them space to run from you, World Breaker needs to deal 500 damage to insta kill anything outside of a Vanguard while also stopping all heals to the person that gets caught.
There's no reason World Breaker is such a joke when it's a single target ult that you have to be hugging someone to use which only does 200 damage and the enemy can be healed during it. If Magneto's Ult can one shot someone, why can't Hulk's World Breaker???
They also need to find a way to fix Banner cause as of right now they are a complete joke. It takes too long to get a full charge to turn back into Hulk so right now it's better for the team if you just die off to respawn and jump back to the fight as it's currently faster than dealing with Banner at all.
Devs are a complete joke.
