Battlepass doesn't give enough premium currency to buy the next one?
At least this short season is a net loss, costs 500 and only gives 300, if this trend continues it will cost 1000 and give 600- So basically it will cost us like $4 per battlepass, so $2 a month (i think?).

Not terrible, but I am just saying, some battlepasses give slightly more premium currency back than it costs, so you are rewarded for your initial purchases with unlimited battlepasses IF you no-life the game and 100% the battlepass each time in time for next season.

I just feel like I am shovelling coal if not getting more or equal premium currency back.
To me the whole point of battlepasses is to reward you for actively playing by giving you essentially free stuff, and you can insert credit card to buy more stuff..

The way they are working it just feels wrong to me, a constant cash sink for skins I might not even want that season.

I think it is in their best interest for it to cost 1000 and give 1100, people will be more likely to buy it thinking "infinite money glitch", then end up spending the currency on skins and cashing up to buy more anyway.

the BPs never expire. Once you have it, you have it forever. and from what I've read, they will never be removed from the store either, so once they are released, they will be available forever.

I'll take that over being given enough to buy the next one, but having a limited time buy and complete it.

Paladins was the last hold out for giving enough currency to pay for the next one.
Pretty much no games do it anymore. (at least none that I'm aware of)
Unlike Overwatch, Fortnite, and other games, the battle passes are literally forever if you paid for it. You buy it, you can finish it whenever you feel like. It doesn't go away when a new season starts. So I don't think it's a good business decision to allow people to essentially get the battle passes for free when you don't lose them if you paid for it. If NetEase did that, then they would have to rely on skin and bundle sales to make money and that stuff is kind of expensive (like $10+ a skin (?) for $20+ for a bundle (?)).
you also get premium currency for the "story" mission things.
I dont see why we cant have both, no expiry and more currency than needed to buy the next one- And I do think they can rely on people buying skins- Also most people wont complete the previous battlepass fast enough for the free next one anyway so will be forced to cash up anyway
Awesome, thanks for letting me know this was a predatory battle pass game :thumbsup

Multiversus does this, but it keeps trying to short change how much the battle pass offers. Fortnite also does this, but it's a better deal to get the membership for a month then cancel if you plan on touching Rocket League too.
I think the Battle Pass only gives you 300 Lattice. I bought it for 1050 Lattice so you have to use real money to buy it again. I wish the pass gave more Units to buy costumes from the store though.
