Perilous Portal Achievement Bug

So I was trying to farm achievements for units and I lured 2 people in my portal and they fell off the map but I didn't get the achievement. I just wasted 5 hours on something that is bugged (I have footage of the achievement not working as well)

Read the patch notes. They don't count as kills at the moment.

The thing about that achievement is that Doctor Strange NEEDS to be credited for the kill. They disabled the portal's ability to count as DS due to an exploit through this as a last minute response to the issue.

The exploit in question is that getting kills through this gives Doctor Strange ultimate charge. Apparently that wasn't intended, and it gives him really fast ult charge.

Until they revert that change you cannot get this achievement

I was going to post about this too, but found this post first. It's kinda dumb that they didn't change the achievement on release and make it something related to his ult.

I wonder if you hit them before they fall with a left-click if it would count though?

Because there wasn't a patch after the one where they disabled it
