I mean Top 500 smurfs have lost matches in Silver because their team was just that uncarriable.
Are there times where you yourself are the problem? Absolutely, bad games happen to everyone. But that is not an indicator of "You should be here instead of there". Do I think I should be GM? Nope, I do not. GM and up is just better than me. But mass loss streaks because of terrible teammates should not happen as often as they do.
Getting out of Gold earlier in the season, I was 1 game off of Plat before going on an 8 game loss streak. Got back to 1 game off Plat, 11 game loss streak. My most common trend is "Win 1 Lose 2" for no reason. Again, sometimes I am the problem, but not often. You can drag monkeys to water but you can't give them a bath.
