His job in such a comp is to flank the enemy backline and survive by healing themself with bubbles.
That said, they should still be trying to assist in some team healing.
Check out some #1 Jeff spectate videos on youtube.
To be fair, the person did give a heads up in advance so at least the team still has the option to work around that..
He’s always too deep in his own problems.

Peeps will always do stupid stuff. Just like a Adam Warlock DPS and not healing..
Spectating high level players doing high level things is actually educational, while it's not likely most players will be able to play at the same level they may pick up on some character elements to improve themselves some on the character. It has helped me with a few of my mains to improve my gameplay.
He got MVP and had by far the Most Damage and Kills above all other Damage Dealers. Compare with Jeff on Enemy Team.
I think what he did was going "fin Mode", climb the highest building available where most of the enemy team would ignore him and snipe them from there, maybe also eat a few of them and throw them off, I dno?
He is truly a trash character for the trash people that don't really want to play the game but go for the epic lulz. Most jeff players end up doing trash damage, trash healing, contribute nothing to their team, but then every five games or so they have an accidental good ult where they suicide off five people from a cliff and that sustains them.
