TL;DR: the strategist ultimates people were complaining about have an increased cost. The Cloak and Dagger ult expires a couple seconds sooner. Strange's hp was reduced by 50. Goon Knight ult was fixed. Otherwise minor changes.

Captain America is already a pain to deal with as a support main. He should not be getting any kind of buffs when he's the most agile dive tank. Too often in ranked I have to deal with him already diving the backline constantly taking me and the other support out. He's just as bad to deal with as Black Panther.

Was also hoping to see a decreased cooldown for Widow's kick as it's her only means of some sort of defense against dive heroes. Meanwhile Hawkeye gets his KB slash cooldown reduced to 12 seconds.

They're playing favorites, Hawkeye is already harder to deal with than Widow.

Witch needs her own shield when she ults or at the very least a faster ult. I don't think 100 extra hp is enough that she can still survive on her own without having to rely on a Magneto or Sue ult.
I'm guessing you play C&D? I feel like most other supports aren't too scared of Cap. Rocket, IW and Jeff just escape, Mantis and Luna CC him, and no one plays Adam Warlock (I imagine he can just shoot Cap). C&D definitely enjoys dive character the least, but hey, veil got better so you can blind him.

Yeah, I think they kind of forgot Widow existed this patch. She definitely still needs help. Maybe she gets a godlike team up in season 2. Hawkeye needed the help too though.

Wands's ult is one of those things where it's probably either useless or gamebreaking and it doesn't take a lot to cross the line. While she still probably needs Magneto to be food, I'm ok with that over it having little counterplay.

Probably to give other tanks a chance to shine. Strange and Magneto are the dominant pair specifically because of their shields.

While I agree that Strange and Magneto do appear a lot. Why nerf them instead of just buffing the other tanks utility/survivability? Tanks (in my opinion) are supposed to be the ones that soak up damage and create space for their teams.
buffing other tanks might make other classes weaker/stronger. why not just nerf 1 character and adjust as needed instead of doing unneeded buffs on dozens of characters?

The solution isn't always "buff other numbers". That leads to damage/power creep and ruins games. Gamers need to stop thinking a nerf on their character is the end of the world for them.

Mantis is the attack healer IMO. I always play her on attack because she pairs well with aggressive front liners, then I usually switch to someone else on defense. It'll be interesting to see if she's now more desired on defense for her cheaper ult.

Regarding Luna, I agree, the ult will still be annoying to play around, it will just be annoying a little less often. This was the easy fix, it probably mostly does the job and for less risk than a more substantial rework, but it will still kinda feel bad.

I've certainly always heard the team-up cited as the primary reason for the ban. Certainly, Hull is not bad, but I don't think he's busted enough to blanket ban on his own.

Fair enough— my experience with Mantis is purely secondhand.

Hulk can land on a squishy and 100-0 them before they recover from the stun. That’s what makes him scary. The more I look at Storm, the more I think she might’ve gotten over-nerfed. She got a percentage nerf to her self-buff that will affect everything she does, on top of the range drop off. Will the buff to her teammates be enough?

RE: Magneto and Strange being used a lot: I would argue that it points to an even bigger design issue that they are the only real defensive tanks alongside Groot. Even Peni is just a variation on Squirrel Girl. The line is fuzzy between Vanguard and Duelist for the rest of the tanks.

The biggest nerf since the game's launch is Cloak & Dagger's ult can no longer stack healing and damage on itself anymore.

Also, the Moon Knight thing is misleading. It's suppose to only deal 75 base damage but the damage bug is making it deal 150, with the patch notes 150 is going to be the new base damage, turning the damage bug into a feature. The talons will also fall slower so there is a bigger time interval to escape, but that also means his ult will last a bit longer to get all 14 talons out.
Yesterday I won a game 5 v 6 in comp because of Cloak and Daggers ridiculously fast ult time lol. Was able to ult and then ult again in same fight, felt good lol.
