Keep in mind, this game, when it functions half well, no tech issues or hacks and your team isn't trying to switch on an extra brain cell, watching Tiktoks or having fun being training/EOMM AI, is pretty clustered, meaning you got either a mobile objective to move along with or areas that need to be controlled and there's no other modes to pick and maps are pretty limited, so your best bet would be to figure out where the health pickups are, so you don't have to rely on healers and then pick something you're comfortable with and be flexible enough to switch it around, because you might have to.
There's 19 DPS class characters and 16 of the other two classes combined, so kids will be crying about nobody choosing tank or healer.
Takeaway: Don't play Black Widow and be prepared to get hated on for picking Batman, I mean Moon Knight.
I maned Heavy and Medic. Here I prefer Venom and Jeff. With a dash of Punisher and Iron Man.
Mind you, this game has a VERY different feel to TF2. You are comparing cake and pie here.
For more info for the little time I played OW I mostly was playing McCree (Winter Soldier) Zenyatta (Warlock?), and Roadhog (uhhhh)
vanguard- dr. strange, peni parker and groot
Duelist- moon knight, punisher, wolverine, magick, psylocke, and squirrel girl
strategist- Rocket, cloak and dagger, and jeff
From the classes you said, i'd suggest
Demoman - Squirrel Girl, Wolverine (Melee demo build)
Medic - basically all strategists, but specifically Adam Warlock, Mantis, Invisible Woman
Sniper - Black Widow, Hawkeye, and Hela
Soldier - Iron man, magneto
Scout - Starlord, Iron fist, and Magik
Can't really compare TF2 to MR.
TF2 have classes and load-outs that affect how you play.
MR have fixed characters load-outs.
