Wanda's ULT

I just need to complain. She's overall a really strong character, but her ult is so useless you're better off just not using it. 6 second windup, a massive red exclamation mark, you can get webbed out of it, wolverine/hulk knock you out of it, winter soldier can grab you out of it. Your health doesn't go up, so whole enemy team is incentivised to just blindly shoot toward big red light, all shields and any tiny bit of cover blocks it.

Honestly only way to use it is to time it with a strange portal, have magneto/hulk shield you, but getting team to make intelligent plays is harder than pulling teeth, so you're better off just pretending like she doesnt have an ult.

Just comparing her to Hila, how tf does Hila get 1,000 hp with her ult and can basically 1-2 shot whole enemy team. I'm frothing at the mouth, actually ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and pissing myself rn.

Consider that Wanda can flank from anywhere. At the very least, if you time it with a push, you can take an off-angle and divide enemy attention, maybe even nuke one or two people. You can also hide behind a cover, ult, then peek out at the last second.

That said, many ults are mediocre by themselves and require teamwork. Wanda's is no different. It one shots, and has a huge radius, if it had invulnerability as well or a quick startup, it'd be OP.

Try using Mister Fantastic's ult some time. Has the exact same issues yet does absolutely nothing.

her ult seems like it was initially made with characters supporting her in mind which is not how most other ults function which causes her to get a lot of hate, if theres barriers and stuff it can be really strong but without those its pretty easy to stop her. they should make her ult less team dependent, but to do that it would need a big rework

You are also forgetting that this is a team game.
Work with your team to use her ultimate correctly.
Dr. Strange portal, Magneto bubble or ultimate, Invisible Woman ultimate, there are options to keep her alive long enough to detonate Wanda's ult.

You forget that 99% of people playing this game are incapable to playing as a team or communicating, so unless I somehow find a premade comp whenever I decide to play, I'm screwed
