Outside of that I thought you were aged and seasoned enough to know what type of people you were dealing with in these video games and in that same breath did you think your responses to some people seem a bit aggressive and antagonistic? It's seems your response to anything you don't view as positivity and absolute support is the negativity you don't want to receive when playing a game. All I'm saying is not everyone is out to hurt you and trying to hurt them back isn't a healthy solution. I'd say try playing with other women but you can still run into the same problems of catty behavior and the same passive aggressiveness, in the end you'll just have to navigate people and avoid the bad ones. They are like that to everyone. They just happen to use the fact you are a girl as their excuse/their weapon.
Just don't use the voice chat if it bothers you; you won't be missing much it rarely works in any beneficial capacity (with randoms)
You do counter report to all of them. Voice chat abuse. write a text they insulted you in voice chat, give maybe some example what happened. I'm sure dev team will take account this.
I had this situation one time. I din't get ban, but devs reported they gave ban to those who I reported. I had a good reason for that, which I told them that they used a lot the "N" word.
But if you have all voice chat mute by default, that can hurt communication with your team mates in ranked. I had game where I played Luna and other healer played C&D. I was whole game calling which one of us use ult first and he always somehow used the defense ult same time as I did. After defeat it turns out he didn't have voice chat on and I was trying to speak him whole round, he even had all chat off, but he turned it on in last round to communicate.
I totally understand if you don't wanna keep Voice chat on, but you might wanna let your team know you don't have it on. It might be the reason for losing game. So far it have worked for me and I just mute almost instantly if toxic one try to speak.
You don't have to answer to them, you don't need to say anything, just play your game. devs can't ban you for nothing, even if the whole team reports you for some reason which is quite rare I believe, just make your counter report and give them something to investigate.
I think you need to understand that that is exactly what is happening to her. Youre incredibly naive if you think shes not getting these messages because she is a woman. Youre literally mansplaining for things she has personally experienced.

If you are having fun with a game it doesn't matter if you are a man or woman, if you are doing good at a game it doesn't matter if you are a man or a woman, if you are doing bad at a game it doesn't matter if you are a man or a woman.
The only thing that matters is that gamers are gaming. If someone talks trash, just talk trash back or just dominate them on the scoreboard.
It's embarrassing you try to pretend yuou know anything about the game while having a 40% winrate.
