I queue up, it puts me in a game against real players. The game is 1 minute from being over and ends in a loss; where I had nearly no influence on the match..... immediately makes me fight bots again because I "lost"
*Flips table*
I JUST WANT TO PLAY A REGULAR GAME. JUST ONE. @_@
Don't like to play against bots? Git gud.
The first 5 or so weeks the game was out I reported every single bot I saw lock-on in killcams because I did not know there was bots in Quick Match. We're talking dozens of reports for cheating.
Back then the game still told you when it banned cheaters (it does not seem to anymore) as I did get a few cheaters banned, but not once did I get a notice about a bot.
Even after I knew about the bots, I still reported them sometimes, partially because I wasn't sure if they were a bot, and partially because I went them to label the bots in some manner.
I've stopped doing this because I recognize the bots now, by name, by behavior, and by player level. (Also it's extremely unlikely to come across a 6 man team of all PC players in QM and bots are always PC and never console)
People like you lack a base level of empathy. Don't like being lonely? Be good.
I have a win rate over 60% and if I am solo queuing I get bots after 1 loss.
Pretty cringe way to end a reply where you have no idea what you are talking about. I'd be pretty embarrassed if I was you.
It's just bots dawg. Use that match to work on proficiency of characters you don't get to play much, or to try out new characters or team ups.
And when you win, your next match will likely be a full match against real players.
Sure there's a small possibility that you might join a match in progress again, but that's just bad luck and not going to happen every time.
For real?
Even some of my favorite games I've stopped playing once queue times hit 5 minutes.
Bots in quick match are a net positive. I am for bots in Quick Match.
Games like Vampire The Masquerade Bloodhunt saw a severe decrease in playercounts as queue times got over 2.5 minutes, and currently have a surviving fanbase solely because they added bots. Without them the game would be totally unplayable after only a couple years.
A desire for player retention makes even more sense when you are paying to license properties and/or have contractual obligations to meet.
You don't have to like it, the fact of the matter is, it makes sense.
It's above 50% so it's not that. I'm not great at the game sure, but not totally inexperienced either. I do about as well as anyone that doesn't play the game super seriously.
Also, how is it putting me in a match right as it ends in a loss like 30 seconds later, my fault? How was I supposed to turn that game around in 30 seconds and avoid it going right back to bots because "I lost"?
Furthermore, it put me in a bot game earlier after a match where I WON. I didn't even lose and it did it.
All this on top of the fact it should not even be a thing in the first place, hell even if I lose 10 games in a row i should just...lose 10 games in a row.
It's a multiplayer game, I queued up for multiplayer, if I wanted to fight AI I would have chosen the vs AI mode.
Yeah I did not have this problem not too long ago. Something happened recently where it got like this. They happened before, but were rare.
The only thing weird is people thinking it's weird to have bots in a PvP game.
