this is nothing new, its nothing that will ever change for probably another decade or so.
would it be nice if it did? yes. will it? probably not. because every dev has their own idea of what creates the best balance in a match up. they always leave out one primary factor, "is the player learning from their mistakes?" which is hard enough to truly quantify given sometimes players are just lucky, right place right time and correct decision made to make the most of it. but luck is not something a game can measure, nor science really. so when someone says they got the best matchmaking algorithm in the history of gaming, i scoff knowing full well its not perfect, or they are full of crap and ignore em.
This is true, but I just want the match making system to STOP doing things, not asking it to do more. I want 2 completely random players around our rank. That is not hard to ask for. They can even be in a duo team comp, but the game should not pretend to match us based on ANY other stats at all. That is completely rigging the game.
that said i agree if they take out the underhanded "give em a win so they spend money" crap i think wouldn't change the quality of match making and would feel less dirty.
also the removal of bot pity matches in quick play. or train the bots to be better and less obvious as bots. it can't be hard o train the bots off actual player data with as much as they are harvesting off us as it is.
