For the most part your absolutely correct..
It's just weak players who have Been gaslit into thinking they are strong players by the matchmaking system. Witch hunting in order to avoid facing the falsehood of their own ego..
While also trying to blame others for the matchmaking forcing losses on them, without blaming the matchmaking system that's actually responsible..
Most of the crying about smurfs also stems from this..
The entire online competitive scene for any game is riddled with cheaters from the engagement rank up to the highest rank. About 99% of players in the highest rank of any online competitive game have cheated to get to that point before trying to become legit or they begin to soft cheat. No one is capable of climbing solo and winning every game as MVP without using cheats and being extremely blatant. The problem is some people don't understand how cheats work so they assume they're getting destroyed by a good player when they're just losing to a closet cheater. Most people play games for fun but once you start getting to higher ranks in games you just can't do anything due to the massive amount of people cheating for prestige and fame. Just the other day I ran into a guy with his Twitch.tv in his name and he was talking to his chat on an open mic to 110 botted viewers, he has 2 people typing in his chat every 3-5 minutes. I went back and watched his replay and he was aimhacking. His tracker was set to private. He was boosting a girl in the lobby that he was queued with as well. This is the sad reality of online games now. 99% of the top players and most of your favorite streamers are not legit. They cheat to get to where they are and they intentionally mislead or misdirect people into believing that they're good at games. Sinatra, Shroud, Brooks to name just a few are people who are still currently cheating and making a career out of it. Shroud turned into a multi-millionaire and has a solid library of clips where he has been acused of cheating with evidence. Sinatra intentionally bullies people into believing he isn't a cheater because he was also a pro in OW. I've played him in CSGO and he was cheating with his friends when he was down in South Florida. He also cheats in Marvel Rivals with a very unique and expensive Black Panther script. The provider that these people use have specific scripts for every hero in the game and you can tailor it based on how you think people will perceive your skill level. Brooks is trying to make a career right now by cheating with wallhacks and softlock on Starlord and people actually watch him and think he is just good. There are several clips of him already wallhacking by looking at his second monitor mid fight which has his overlay and then looking through the center of walls for no reason. His crosshair placement is also very poor for someone who plays a lot of FPS games which is another sign that someone isn't legit. At this point the only thin we can really do is move on from competitive games and let it die out. eSports have already lost millions of dollars in sponsors and people are watching the major tournaments of Valorant and CS2 a lot less than before as well as LoL and DoTA.

That's insane how does that not get picked up? I've seen a few people with auto aim and wall hacks but this is ridiculously clear that if any human watched this it would have gotten caught.
P.S It's a total waste of time to grind rank :)
