I'm almost 40 and need an explanation for this insult. why is gooner a thing? when did a common and normal function of the body such as being turned on by whatever you are into an insult? I don't understand how males getting turned on by the female body something that oh you know its 100% part of life normal and something males have done since the human race first walked the earth gooner activity. Are kids just dumb now? is it for the meme or are these people serious lmao

I'm also 40 years old myself. I first heard the term when that Invisible Woman skin for this event came out about being too sexy. Not sure if it's just women specific.

Just one of those dumb insults little kids make up to feel superior pretty much. I'd just ignore it myself. I don't even use that skin, nor like it and people have called me it lol.

Gooner comes from a certain category of "corn". It's been around for over a decade now. It's about masturbating but not releasing, instead you keep yourself on the edge as long as possible.

But as anything, the new generation just steals words and change their definition. Now it's used for anything related to sex and used as an insult.

It's similar to Karen, which was created by black people for racist white women. Now when you go to youtube or anywhere else, you will now see how anybody who acts out in public is called a Karen, regardless if they are right or wrong.

"Gooning" is more or less some form of hours long edging/mindless chronic masturbation, its used to refer to different things but they all share the similar theme of someone masturbating too much. There are supposedly a decent number of individuals who genuinely do this, look up the word goon on a porn site and look at the janky fidget spinner mind rape videos those individuals make.

I've been actually get called "grandpa", "old man", "divorced husband" by kids in video games, those terms would suit me as a parents to them. :)

I'm trying my best to adapt with younger people in video games and never insult anyone or give any daddy advice, but rather motivate other players to communicate as normal humans and less toxic. Sorry if insulted you or gave wrong message.

You can adapt but im not going to. Gooner is a dumb af insult spat out by immature kids i cannot go on things like youtube and read the comments without cringing anymore it's OK to be sexual and who tf cares how often someone masturbates lol. anyway i got my answer rant over

I have lived what 4 decades? thats a long time dude things have changed so badly that i have every right to bring my age into it and 40 is halfway done in life dont need to be 75 to be an adult

Gooner is not an insult it is a choice and a lifestyle.
