When to use Hawkeye's explosive arrows?

I'm having a hard time seeing when you should use Hawkeye's explosive arrows instead of the precision arrows. What situations are better served by the explosives?

i think it's best used against close-ranged combatants, so you use your shift to push them back, switch to explosive, and then you jump over them to land the three arrows(with the double jump)

It's only really useful for finishing off a hard to hit target that is very very low on health.

Beyond that, don't use them imo.

I like this idea. Hawkeye is vulnerable to dive, and it's hard to aim precisely at a target that is in your face. I'll try this out next time I play him.

It's mainly to help you defend yourself at close range, but it mainly used to destroy the environment.

i would say when you pop ult and ops are clumped together

it should be used inside your spawn to destroy the decoration, after you get out of your spawn area dont think about this ability anymore.

CQC/CC aka Close Quarters and Crowed Control, like agaisnt Black Panther, Spider Man or if the other side is grouping up. It has a wide range so it works better if you get close.

Yes, you switch to them using the scroll wheel or - I think - pushing the 2 key.

I use them to destroy large pieces of the environment usually
