Marvel Rivals
What's the point of playing if i ain't a marvel fanboy?
Tried the game, seems kindaaa fun, but truly i don't care for these 35 marvel characters, the peak gameplay consists of knowing every good destructable angle, getting healed by the support/killing the enemy support and occasionally turning around to kill the roamer trying to kill the team's sisyphean support that's carrying the entire ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ team.

Like that's it? if i don't care about these heroes i am only left with focusing the enemy support and babysitting the team's babysitter?

Okay, as someone who has never really been into super heroes or shooters, I'll try my best to give my own reasons for playing this game

First and foremost, there's a sense of familiarity with the mainstream heros like Iron Man, Hulk, Magneto, etc. that felt like a nice ease into shooter games like COD and Overwatch that feel like basic war simulators in my mind. The draw in of the heros makes it more desirable by default, even if it's not something I'm particularly fond of. By extension, that makes learning shooters more fun as well.

I think the issue you're facing is that you're comparing it analytically too much to other shooters you have played. From Day 1, I stared playing heros I never heard of and just learned how to utilize them. It makes the experience more enjoyable, win or lose.

Focus less on the winning formula, branch out, and have fun. If that seems counterproductive because winning is what's most fun for you and you've already cracked that code, then just move on from the game. Just keep in mind that a game with 12 players on 2 teams is going to leave a lot of open variables that you can't predict
