Dev Talk Vol.12|Seasonal Rewards Adjustments

After the recent Dev Talk on rank adjustments, we have been closely monitoring the community's feedback. As the first half of Season 1 draws to a close, we recognize that some players are concerned about not having enough time to reach Gold rank and earn the Invisible Woman costume, Blood Shield reward. We have decided to make some adjustments to the reward system to accommodate and help support these players.

Here are the details:

1，The first half of the season will conclude on February 21, 2025, at 8:00 AM (UTC+0). Eligible players will receive their respective rewards, allowing them to enjoy the fruits of their hard work ahead of time.

2，The Gold rank costume rewards for the second half of the season will include: the Invisible Woman costume, Blood Shield, from the first half of the season, and the brand-new Human Torch costume, Blood Blaze, for the second half of the season. In order to claim both rewards, players must participate in at least 10 competitive matches during the second half of the season and reach Gold rank or higher. Keep in mind, this is the last opportunity to earn these costumes, as they will be replaced with new rewards in Season 2.

3，The Crest of Honor rewards will remain separate for each half of the season. This means that the Crests of Honor for the first half of the season can only be earned during that period, while the Crests of Honor for the second half of the season can only be obtained within its respective timeframe.

We hope these changes give you greater flexibility. Whether you are balancing Marvel Rivals with your daily life or aiming for the stars in Competitive mode, we want you to be able to achieve your rank goals, claim your rewards, and enjoy the game to the fullest. the reason y'all get hype is the mods people can download for skins that peak more interest than the ones in the games ban people who are actually cheating. people modding the skins leave them alone the player base system dropped tremendously because y'all just banned or temp banned people for not cheating but get mods that edit skins focus on the actual cheaters and the optimization of the game its not hard to tell when someone is cheating even in 1.5 in February i ran into countless but y'all did nothing if you cant even manage a game don't release it many people fail in making there games because of the fact that if its pvp people cheat modding is different from cheating but relatively the same but keep in mind the movement people make and how fast there able to lock on players and kill then your game will improve along with game optimization. just my opinion don't take it to heart people.

Maybe you all should ficus on fixing the broken matchmaking system causing the game to bleed players. Maybe you should realize no one gives a damn about ranked garbage the way you have the MM setup. Its not competitive at all. But lets just focus on awards to keep people interested... Until you get rid of this communist EOMM system this game will continue to bleed players. Want to give people incentive to play better make the game purely competitive with a matchmaking system that makes sense.

These Developers are Trash they make to many dumb rules & decisions. This game already dead to me. My friends are pissed too none of us playing anymore. Glad i didnt buy anything what a waste of time & money. Developers go F your Fat selves.

Have you now? So when are you going to do something about Spider-Man? The character is so anti-fun and toxic to the game that it's an actual problem. Here's what he can do alone and that's not even the full list. The problem is not that he can do any of these things but that he can do ALL of them.

- He can move across a full map in seconds. His mobility is ridiculous.
- He can double jump.
- He has a damage self-buff.
- He has a pull. As a bonus that pull can throw you off the map.
- The pull can be used as zip for even more mobility.
- He can shutdown ultimate moves.
- He can wall crawl and run.
- He has a sense that alerts him if someone is close.
- He has a ranged attack.
- He has a relatively easy one-hit combo.
- He has an uppercut that throws enemies in the air and is a soft crowd control.
- His skills have multiple charges. The ranged shots have 5 the uppercut has 2 and so on.
- His ultimate is an area of effect damage with slow and he gets bonus health during the ult.
- His ultimate can stun.
- His melee hit box is quite forgiving.
- His own hit box is not that large making him harder to hit.
- He can engage and disengage very easily allowing him to succeed or simply run away to reset with pretty low risk.
- Because of his very over-tuned kit his counters are not very effective.

Fix this broken mess of a character already.

Also the Hellfire Gala? What are you thinking? Marvel has what 85 years of good stories to pick from and you with the discount prom? This is ridiculous.

Or you could just enjoy the game. Not everything has to have "representation" and not everyone has the need to see themselves in it. And last time I checked non of us have super powers so non of us are "included". If being able to play as Wolverine, Spider-Man, Venom, Winter Soldier and the rest of rooster is not enough for you nothing will be.

Sure, let's support the prowlers that can't even reach one of the lowest and the most common ranks in the game, let's make those EOMM algorithms even more ridiculous and the thighs of the next female character even thicker.

It is frustrating to see how after this game brought money to the devs it becomes a pinata with golden bars, and you guys will not stop untill you beat all the sh@t out of it, just to fill your pockets.

Just imagine carrying some clueless dudes, who's presence in your mm defeats the entire purpose of competition and player rankings. Well, you don't even have to imagine if you play this game. Sooner or later it will die just like apex legends or some other EOMM cr@p.

Your game's good enough to not have to be manipulative. It can stand on its own merits. Please let it do so, and find a way for these Twitch drops and event skins to be earnable through gameplay at any time.

I'd even be fine with a compromise that sees these FOMO skins be put on a rotation. But I refuse to participate in FOMO-fueled activities.

Sadly the reality of games developed by the Chinese with their ties with the CCP. This game had so much potential.
