Dev Talk Vol.12|Seasonal Rewards Adjustments

After the recent Dev Talk on rank adjustments, we have been closely monitoring the community's feedback. As the first half of Season 1 draws to a close, we recognize that some players are concerned about not having enough time to reach Gold rank and earn the Invisible Woman costume, Blood Shield reward. We have decided to make some adjustments to the reward system to accommodate and help support these players.

Here are the details:

1，The first half of the season will conclude on February 21, 2025, at 8:00 AM (UTC+0). Eligible players will receive their respective rewards, allowing them to enjoy the fruits of their hard work ahead of time.

2，The Gold rank costume rewards for the second half of the season will include: the Invisible Woman costume, Blood Shield, from the first half of the season, and the brand-new Human Torch costume, Blood Blaze, for the second half of the season. In order to claim both rewards, players must participate in at least 10 competitive matches during the second half of the season and reach Gold rank or higher. Keep in mind, this is the last opportunity to earn these costumes, as they will be replaced with new rewards in Season 2.

3，The Crest of Honor rewards will remain separate for each half of the season. This means that the Crests of Honor for the first half of the season can only be earned during that period, while the Crests of Honor for the second half of the season can only be obtained within its respective timeframe.

We hope these changes give you greater flexibility. Whether you are balancing Marvel Rivals with your daily life or aiming for the stars in Competitive mode, we want you to be able to achieve your rank goals, claim your rewards, and enjoy the game to the fullest. Please reconsider the FOMO approach. I know what marketing tells you, but I have no respect for FOMO tactics. It's just manipulation.

Your game's good enough to not have to be manipulative. It can stand on its own merits. Please let it do so, and find a way for these Twitch drops and event skins to be earnable through gameplay at any time.

I'd even be fine with a compromise that sees these FOMO skins be put on a rotation. But I refuse to participate in FOMO-fueled activities.

I cant play this game because it keeps getting stuck at 99% loading screen and I have done EVERY single change possible to try to fix it, its impossible to play when I come 30sec to 2 minues into the game until this is fixed. And this keeps happening to many other players, when is this getting fixed?????

I still don't get the whole "crest of honor" thing. Do you keep accumulating them for each GM in each season you've earned the rank? Or they will disappear as soon as the current season ends and you will have to reacg GM again to claim another one?

should optimize this game for lower end pc's this game runs like it needs a 40 series card just to run without stutters. overwatch can run so smoothly no matter what i use ngl

I disagree. You want to give people incentives to play and get better. There are PLENTY of other skins, and they have yet to make a bad skin. OW had PLENTY of FOMO skins including the best Widowmaker skin
