You could name a thousand different cultures with this music. It's not unique at all. I thought maybe some was reciting something or anything. It's just melodic chanting.

I'm just assuming, based on various things..

Firstly is the fact that netease is basically an arm of the ccp. In addition the CCP pushes a no religion policy, or at very least one that's anti Muslim.

So including something relating to the Muslim faith really makes no sense unless it was done to serve a hidden agenda.

@Brainow and @Yznsa talked to them about it, in 2hrs they responded, and they did review the audio files and apologized stating that they will remove these audio files and address it in next week patch.

same happened when I messaged the support about it, they apologized and said it wasn't intentional, it will be addressed in next week patch.

it was indeed a recitation of a verse from the quran in practice range, people did dig in the files and found the audio file that was played in the practice range and the audio is a perfect recitation of a verse from a sheikh. it ofc had effects on them in-game so that's why it was hard to notice

It's not about the chanting style mate we don't mind the OSTs of the maps like Brinin t'challa and warriors of wakanda
What we are pointing out is that in 2 specific maps specifically the practice range and the Convergence wakanda, in the ambiance of the map there are faint Quran readings in the background and it was found within the audio files of these 2 maps
Every other thing is fine

I was going to open the game search other maps for sounds and see if in each hero select menu it appears or in specific maps hero selection and other variables.

Saw your comment and did some custom games in maps to see, Convergence wakanda aka hall of djalia was the one in the practice range and they both have the same sound in hero select, environment sound, and the elimination replay.

Brinin t'challa seems to have mostly nature sounds not really sure.

Yggsgard's two maps seemed normal too with no related sounds, other maps have completely different themes like midtown and shibuya so I didn't test them, I'm sure their team will review their sound packs that they used and remove any quran related sounds
