Any RCE is bad, even if it requires being on the same network.

This is a very concerning situation, I'm considering uninstalling after this.
I've already uninstalled since it's been over a week. You should be considering never spending money on this game.
As far as the known RCE goes, if you have your own personal router that's password protected then I believe you only have to worry about the other people you live with.
But leaving it in the game does speak volumes. So I wouldn't even touch this game until that PC Gamer article gets updated.
As for anything that hasn't been found, we just don't know.
i think a lot of people are overreacting (for the most part). a vulnerability is bad, dont get me wrong, but taking any vulnerability and treating it like its a gun aimed at your head is asinine.
assess the risk, learn your network, decide if its actually affecting you and making you vulnerable. i get the feeling a lot of people are band wagoning here rather than actually reading anything.
It's ok if you have 0 dollars in your bank account, but some of us use our PC to acces our bank, crypto wallet, paypall, etc, etc... and I'm not going to put all my data at risk.
