fix your crap matchmaking in ranked and make it so the surrender system ends in a draw, no point in being forced to lose points from throwers who left mid or early match

why would they make it so a game ends in a draw because one team surrenders? The winning team doesn't deserve that and people would abuse it when they're losing

get gut loser
Why would the match end in a draw when one team surrenders? Every time a team was about to lose they would surrender........
the point of it would be if you had 1 or more teammates leave and not join back, you can vote for a draw so both teams get nothing.

No winning team will ever vote for a draw, especially on Comp. Also, the winning team shouldn't be robbed of points just because one of the losing team's players decided to rage quit.

you don't play on fairness then and its also a problem when im matched with tanks or mainly dps because supports aren't the problem its the idiots who can't aim

Yeah...
Well, I guess you're never going to reinstall then since neither of these requests will be fixed. :sheepishsquirrel:

Wait, you have a VAC Ban on record. :shockedsquirrel: This is even more reason for them not to want you playing their game. :happysquirrel:

Need harsher punishments for people that leave mid match. I say they should lose a full rank. So go from Plat 1 down to Plat 2 just for DCing plus the stacking timeout penalty. Could have it so the rank level loss increases to two ranks when you hit GM and three at Celestial and above. Imagine going from OAA down to Celestial 2 just for rage quitting. That would get people to knock it off or keep them down in bronze where they belong.

I like the escalating system better because crashes do happen. But if they're a frequent enough occurrence, then the player's detrimental to a ranked team regardless and shouldn't be in ranked until their crashing issues are sorted.

I'd keep it to a max of one rank lost though. That's good enough to get the point across while mitigating the number of outlier cases that could happen where a person having a connection issue get walloped with 20 ranks lost.
Honestly the only ones that should lose points are the people that disconnect and the surrender option prevent the loss of points for the affected team.

If you need to take points from the loss to give to the winning team, take them all from the quitter. Give them like a 90-100 point loss or something.

It's comp, I'm not gonna sacrifice my win just cuz we're better than you and your team members want to rage quit. Instead of crying about "fairness", how about you find some friends to play comp with. You have the option to add people you did good with, reach out to people online to que up with you. I'm gonna be blunt: you sound like someone who's been babied their whole life and aren't used to things not going your way. It's a game, you can't expect to win every one and rage quitters have been a part of games for as long as multiplayer gaming has been a thing. If you have a problem with that, then stick to offline games.

I don't think you understand how easy that is to exploit, especially with Smurf accounts. You could be playing with your friends, losing, and one of you takes the fall, while the rest of you lose nothing but the game.

You bring up a fair point. The team doing well should get something. Best solution is winning team gets the points for winning. The five on the losing side gain nothing, lose nothing. While the one who rage quit out loses six players worth of points with zero shield protection. Winning side gains points, remaining players on the team essentially end in a wash and the leaver is punished.

Seems like the most fair option to me. Six loses like that would derank the leaver so chronic rage quitters would be stuck down in lower levels where they belong. Bump the DC time out penalty to an hour on the minimum side just to add that extra bit of injury to it.
