Honestly who cares? What a dumb character to add into the game. No one cares to know her back story and her powers are dumb.

No one ever bought a comic because of Emma Frost. No one ever growing up thought it would be cool to be her for Halloween. No one ever and again no one ever gave a sh-t about the Emma Frost character in any context in the history of ever since she was published.

I think having a telepathic character that can turn her skin into diamond would be super cool and interesting to play as. Just because you don't know and care about her as a character doesn't mean that nobody else does.

Majority of people playing this game probably never bought a comic book for any of the roster myself included.
Ever gave a **** about any of the characters in the roster and never while growing up wore one of the roster as a costume for Halloween ect.

Want a 2099 character since the ingame universe includes it, Bloodhawk.

There are many characters in the game right now that very few people knew about, and they have become popular among players. Keep in mind that this game is also a way for Marvel to promote its characters, so there will be a balance between adding characters that are already popular and others that aren't as well known. In the end, what matters is that they are fun to play and add interesting mechanics to the game.

Emma frost aka the white queen has been around forever as a villain and hero. While yes there are others I would love to see first I am fine with her. I mean hell I am a 2099 fanboy I have all the original foil #1's autographed by writers and artists. But they had already dropped tons of hints of people coming down the line. All i know is I would like to see more tanks and supports. I mean desert ghost would be a great support I think. Skullfire for DPS yes please. Metalhead as a vanguard lets do it. I am even all for spiderman 2099 (thought this would most likely be a skin) and hulk 2099. Ghost rider and ghost rider 2099.

However to just hate on emma frost makes no sense. I mean yes there are more main stream people you could go with. However they said they would like to have a mix of popular and well known and have lesser known and basically deep cut characters you haven't seen in years. I mean i see nothing wrong with this but If the paste pot pete thing is true then just wow that is a random one lol. So just relax and lets see where it goes as well it doesn't hurt to request.
