this new update is horrible

the second this update drops my game crashes over and over again. same problem with 4 other friends, WHY DID YOU HAVE TO MAKE THIS GAME RUN EVEN WORSE.

Many people report it, you can watch Youtube videos of people reporting it, if you are so desperate for visuals.

It's unfortunate that your graphics settings are locked on Ultra for eternity and you cannot change anything at all on your end of the device to troubleshoot crashes or frame drops. Hopefully you'll finally be the one that makes the developers realize they're obviously updating the game in reverse.

you can change settings with the launcher I think. Just checked there are options but none that are graphical sorry. Clear config is about the only hope, might be worth using the steam file check too.

Same for me... Huge fps drops like 60-70 i've a freaking RTX 4070Ti 12Go and can't run the game, what a bummer

I've never really had crashes in-game. But the biggest problem is that this game has such a poor performance that there is very little point in playing any other heroes than Raccoon if you don't have 50-series GPU or equivalent.

DLSS is counter productive to FPS games and playing hitscan is trash without stable 3 digit FPS. If I try to play with the fish boy, performance plummets just from drawing character models without even having to spray water anywhere...

At least the game is playable when you sit inside a spawn room far away from any action and spam 0-skill healing bubbles as a raccoon, so FPS drop doesn't affect your play that much.

having same problem, i can either play high settings great fps for days and have 0 problems, or it crash after every patch or i need to lower my settings to an embarrassing amount. game optimisation is ♥♥♥♥♥♥ trash

DELETE MODS. It solved my game crashing.

I found that by using any modded character model the game wont let you join a game and if you rejoin and pick said character it will crash the game after about 10 seconds just letting people know
