Its not like they last long and the game is easy to avoid them go vertical.

Which melee are you playing, first of all?

If your melee has some form of shielding or counter (Iron Fist's parry, Hulk's gamma shield, etc.) pop that and take out the nest ASAP.

If that is impossible, ping the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ and get someone else to do it. Knowing the general location helps instead of walking around blindly trying to find a mine generator while getting shot at from all angles. Trust me, that ♥♥♥♥ is not fun. If you find the nest, PING.

peni's main role is to just screw over melee/flankers, thats the whole point, its on the ranged duelists to take out the turret, but ofc most players here are OW players that can't for the love of life shoot a STATIONARY turret (see all the torb/sym complaints) just because their egoistical 'dps' nature forbids them from doing anything but shoot the bad guy

the same advice that jeff main/defenders give to his broken @ss ultimate lol
"just spread out when he ults"
yup lets all just completely abandon the point and go our own ways into every part of the map and make our strategist have the most miserable time healing

As a support i take out any Mine or Loki's i see while healing. Its a team game for a reason.

While I agree with your initial reply, you do know they last basically forever right?
Like if they do despawn, they take a long ass time to do so. (Peni is my best Tank)

And I see a lot of people think the nest is the primary source of them... Now I understand why I got MVP 7 times in a row last night with her...

You should be taking out her nest ASAP but not because of the mines it spits out, because she heals standing in its web.

The majority of her mines should be coming from HER and a good Peni will hide her turret and stay near it for the healing and flank protection while she is constantly throwing mines out and firing her cannons between mines.
Only bad Peni's will put their turrets somewhere exposed for it to be destroyed quickly, rendering it useless.
