Constantly Stuck at 99% when loading; then get penalized when i get auto kicked

Great game, definitely has ow1 vibes, love that. Problem, whenever I join into a game I keep getting stuck at 99% loaded. With that I can hear the game going on in the background; players shooting, spraying tags, or in my most recent game I can hear all the action going on but I am still stuck in the loading screen at 99%. This wouldnt be that big of a problem if I wasn't facing constant 5min banishments from matchmaking due to me being stuck in a load loop. Despite this, when the game gods decide to smile upon me, the game is really fun, I just cant recommend it as of right now due to the constant load loop i get stuck in. At the very least drop the 5min banishment until it gets fixed.

Lastly, anyone else having this problem?

I have the same problem 99% stuck and then invisible character for like 30 seconds to 2 minutes aprox.

Install the game onto an SSD and it should fix the problem.

Some things i have attempted are:

• installing on ssd
  
• steam launch commands
  
• ini file editing
  
• re-logging after each match
  
• fresh install after each match
  
• lowest graphics settings
  
• switching from ethernet to wifi
  
• downloading Cloudflare Warp

I am still having the same problem, sometimes loading in with less then 1 minute remaining in the match.

People only think that's a solution because the developers have told people that's a solution, but people playing on SSD and NVME have reported having the same problem. Unfortunately, the fix is not simply installing the game on SSD; it seems to be an optimization issue the developers need to fix.

While I agree that installing on an SSD has worked; *sometimes*. A more reliable fix I have found is spamming chat. I don't know why this fixes it but so far so good
