instant crash on loading into a real match

unfortunately i can't give a screenshot or the text of the main error at this moment since i don't wanna make more people suffer/get penalties. but is this happening to anyone else? if i load into the practice range, i'm totally fine, but the instant i connect and try to load into a quick match, the game crashes and closes. supposedly it's something about the maps, maybe? i dunno. send help
