when i play as jeff for support im always in last place. Is killing people the only way to get points?

Same as Rocket seems Healing gets nothing.

it inst a leaderboard, it just shows your team and their roles. Vanguard at the top, dps in the middle, and supports at the bottom. After the game ends it shows the MVP at the top

No, it isn't the only way to get points as there is also assists and overall stats that the game doesn't show you such as damage healed, damage blocked and such.

Only Luna or Gold dude.. because they have epic damage as well.

I get points. At the end of the game it shows my healing points, and if it's more than everybody else then I give myself an mvp pat on the back, and say "good job me".

@PocketYoda why are you making such statements with only 9hrs played? Do you think you go into an online game and the 10 games you play its what everyone else experiences all the time? In my 25 hrs ive seen every single support get mvp at least twice, almost as much as tanks and dps. Also, who the ♥♥♥♥ cares, if you win or if you did good, your stats will show it, and you also have personalized highlights. How fragile is your ego to think like that?

Healing can get MVP, I've gotten into matches as Jeff where I fumbled every ult, and my team was taking so much damage I didn't even have a chance to attack at all cuz I only had to heal, and still gotten mvp or svp.

It's definitely harder, I had just around 20k healing to get it. Damage triple dips into MVP because eliminations and last hits probably also contribute to whatever weight formula they use, so you're actually working on three notches simultaneously by doing damage. This is why it's pretty easy to get MVP as tanks that also do a lot of damage, like Penni, because then you're quad dipping because of the shielding.
