Game now won't open with newest patch

Ever since updating to the latest patch I've been unable to play Marvel Rivals, MarvelRivals_Launcher.exe - Bad Image gives me the following error

D:/Steam.steamapps/common/MarvelRivals/pak_c_ship.d;; is either not designed to run on windows or it contains an error. Try installing the program again using the original installation media or contact your system administator or the software vendor for support. Error status 0x000012f.

I get the same error... says amfrt64.dll is not designed to run on windows or has an error. Just installed the game for the first time via Steam

Marvel Rivals is working excellently for me now, some fps hiccups after updates but they usually fix those soon. I think a combination of uninstalling/reinstalling plus an update got it to work for me. Best of luck
