Even last season, Gold had the highest amount of players in it.
How is this calculated? I know the game gives us the stats of how many you are above, but not below a certain rank you just hit. Is there any calculation made online to get this information you said?
I personally count on giving the game until S2.5 and probably drop it entirely if it's just more of this. I came for a competitive game and it seems like they're just hammering the casual nail into the rivals coffin with every patch.
Also, Ranked doesn't mean anything in this game because it's rigged by EOMM.
Oh, its official then. Thanks. I need to find this, as I'm curious.
80% of the community are not even really engaging with the entirety of the game, these are people that have no fundamentals or at best some fundamentals while completely lacking in others. For example, they may aim well but have no awareness or don't use cover at all, or they may have excellent awareness but can't actually hit anything reliably, or they may use cover to a fault and never actually do anything useful or creative with it.
20% are what you'd expect from diamond and above skill levels, but since 80% are all varying degrees of bad, you'll see bad players in the highest ranks and great players in the lowest ranks. People get carried by friends and RNG. People who play competitive more will tend to migrate toward their actual rank, but there's still a lot of RNG to factor in there.
My tanking probably somewhere plat and will stay there since i don't play mag, and dps.. gold or less with my aim (add ping in here and i'm off).
If u're hard stuck in gold with u're main role, pure luck or where u belong (for now, since some higher ranked player still didn't get back to they're ranks). Eternal from last season are somewhere in gm/celestial.
This ♥♥♥♥♥♥ update just make the game awful for anyone under gm since we have to play with them (lose) till they get back. And i won't talk about boosted players and smurf.
If u main one role, try to have at least one other decent one just in case. But as long as u stick to play what u know well, just gonna be luck if u're teamates don't all play same as u.
