Quick Match Leaver Penalty?
Does anyone know exactly how it works? I understand, "you leave a lot you get a timeout". But, what is the exact amount, and how long till it resets ect. What I want to know is:

-How many matches in a row can I leave that do not give a penalty?
-How long is the penalty for each match you leave? (First penalty, 2nd, ect.)
-How much time, or how many matches to reset the amount of games you can leave?

FINDINGS:
So far I found if you ALT+F4 out of a quick match, then wait a few seconds for the match to backfill your slot, then try to reconnect, the game thinks you had a bad connection and you get no penalty. As long as you attempt to reconnect. Use ALT+F4 to leave your games, wait for a few seconds for the backfill, then you can turn off the game/find a new game, without a penalty I guess.

QUICK MATCH:
24 Matches, 7 leaves = 5 min timeout.
24 Matches, 8 leaves (First game back after timeout, Left Via ALT+F4) = No Timeout
24 Matches, 9 leaves (Second game back after timeout, Left Via ALT+F4) = No Timeout
24 Matches, 10 leaves (Third game back after timeout, Left Via ALT+F4) = No Timeout

I don't really know the answer, I would like to know this info myself. When I first started playing on release day I got to where I would leave Quick matches when I had what i thought were young children team mates who would just stand around and do nothing, I didn't want to play the match just being solo farmed. After leaving, I would ay around 15 matches like this in a week and a half time period I found out there was a penalty, I had to wait 15 minutes for a match to be found. I did't play any more for four days and when I came back it was over. I don't leave any matches now.

I 100% agree with this in ranked matches but in QP? This needs to be changed or lowered by a lot, it isn't right.

Well for me I hate playing defense matches. So I want to use the system to leave all defense matches, while avoiding a penalty. I just got a 5 min penalty after leaving 7 games, over the coarse of 24 matches. I wonder how many matches I have to play to reset the penalty, or how long IRL time it will take.

Let's use this topic to document our findings to figure out how to game the system.

I'm not sure either, because I don't do it as often I guess. But I have 99% of my gametime in QP and lately I've just given up.
I no longer suffer through matches with the infamous instalock spiderman, blackpanther, psylocke, magik, widow 5 squad begging for a healer.
(I mostly pay heals/tanks.)

So sometimes I just leave 2-3 games in a row right off the bat.
If I get auto-filled into a losing match with these? Quit.
If the enemy is clearly outskilling us with some annoying character I quit.
If I won like 4-5 games in a row and it feels like I got matched with bots or a fullstack of console assassin players I just quit as well.

I've had much more fun since I stared doing this and I've yet to receive a single penalty for any of it.
I guess they are relaxed with punishment for QP.
