Add Role Queues
One of the most trustratign things by far in a Team playing Marvel Rivals is not having Healer/Strategist on the team so it sucks to have to switch to one instead of playing the character I really want to play, so a quality of life improvement would be to add just that. I do not think Vanguard/Tank is as essential as Duelist/DPS here, but at least Strategists are very satisfactory to have.
Perhaps "1-3 max" per role or "2-2-2" would be the best arrangements, yet role queues are a must-option to have. Of course, whoever wants to not have this restriction should still have the current "open queue" model as a game mode. Perhaps slow autoregen HP for everyone could help? Likely not.

Bah, they can always change their minds, unless they are very Stubborn.
I think instead of role queue, there should be a limit of 3 for each class, so people don’t queue DPS and f*ck up the matchmaking.

That would likely make things worse. If I go into a game wanting to play a specific role, and I'm locked out of that role I'm going to either try to play another role as the role I wanted, or just do the bare minimum to not get detected as a thrower, while throwing.

I hate to tell you this, but that happens already without a role queue.

I think most people who really want a role queue just want a guarantee that their team will be a viable composition.

And for the weirdos who can't imagine people other than themselves enjoying the game... The open queue hellscape will still be there for you.

Also, people who are throwing because they don't get their way are not people who's experience I give a ♥♥♥♥ about.

That's weird, because the majority of games I have, there's an abundance of supports, an instalock rocket and/or cd. Most matches lately there's no one volunteering for tanking. It was the other way around for me in season 1.5, where I'd have to play support most of the time. This season, I feel like I'm tanking most of the games. I don't mind solotanking either, so long as the DPS can do what they do.

I've never waited over 4? And that was like 3 times in 5 months. Usually minute or less.

It depends on rank, region and active hours. I am playing completely solo queue. I usually wait in queue for 4-11 minutes after I hit top %0.16 and I don't want to wait anymore because of role queue. Also I play all roles, watching my team composition constantly in game swapping roles actively. If my teammate not doing good, I am kindly asking them if they want to switch with me and I am stabilizing my team with it. If role queue exists, I can't do that and it will not be fun

These arguments have been brought up and countered before, many, many times. Even if I never used role queue, I would still have to deal with the effects of splitting up the community.

The wait time also depends on group size— it increases for every additional group member. Big groups are unplayable at high ranks.

Limiting the number of individuals of a certain class in a team is easily exploited, because it favors insta-lockers. Those guys are usually the most toxic and selfish players, anyway. It also discourages experimentation— like with a 4/0/2 comp.

If all that isn’t enough to convince you, I’ve got two words that seal the deal, “True believer”!
