So if you report someone as a "smurf" without them telling that they are - it's very likely you're trying to ruin a legitimate account.
Most who cry "smurf" do so as way to discredit the accused as a way to avoid admitting that..
The funny thing is a 90% or more of smurf claims aren't actually smurfs, but the result of the matchmaking system working as intended atrempting to force a loss/win onto someone.
This isn't to say smurfs don't exist, because they certainly do, but they aren't nearly as prevalent as players would like to belive. They blame smurfing because from their perspective and limited understanding that's what it looks like.. when in reality its just the terrible matchmaking working as intended..
It's super easy for any player to end up looking like a smurf with this matchmaking system..
You can have hundreds of hours on an account and all you gotta do is artificially deflate your total average win rate low enough and the system will start trying to force wins on you, resulting in matches where you and/or your teammates look like smurfs to the other side, due to matchmaking making a grossly uneven match in an attempt to force wins/losses on a player..
I've gotten my win rate so low, where I can literally contribute nothing and my team still wins, just because the matchmaking is trying to keep my win rate from getting to low
Think about it
