Peni Parker's mines – I believe that Spider-Man needs to use the webbing to activate them effectively from a distance. But the problem is, without a reload mechanic, you can’t always keep up the pressure, and you're forced to wait for the cartridges to refill. If the reload mechanic were added, this would make Spider-Man more versatile and less reliant on waiting, giving him more consistency in battle.
Maybe you agree maybe disagree what is you re opinion
The reload wouldn’t inherently increase his damage output; it would simply make his gameplay smoother and less punishing when his web cartridges run out. Right now, running out of cartridges forces players into a passive playstyle, which can feel frustrating and limiting.
The idea is not to make Spider-Man stronger but to make him more consistent and adaptable to different situations. His mobility is a core part of his identity, and I believe adding a reload option wouldn’t disrupt that balance.
I also don’t believe this would make him overly powerful in higher ranks because Spider-Man’s core gameplay is still focused on hit-and-run tactics and landing precise web shots in combination.
At the end of the day, Diamond, GM, Eternity, and OAA lobbies aren't banning spider-man because high comp players realize his flaws.
All they see are the quick engagement OTP's not the 90% down-time waiting for CDs, or the reliance on the rest of the team to be over-bearing on the front line forcing full attention from majority of the enemy team. To be able to even One hit a healer you need the team-up from Venom (Which is the lowest damage tank in the game that provides zero utility).
He does need to be stream-lined in some way, The other assassin's (Psylocke & Black Panther) aren't at the mercy of CD's with arguably similar engagement speed/Burst damage.
What good is mobility if you can't reliably do damage? What good is mobility if you can't reliably use utility?
Which is intentional to increase the reliability of Damage % Done to enemies.
Which team is more likely to win on paper?
A team with Punisher & Hela consistly outputting damage
B team with Spidey & X DPS that kills one healer every ~45 seconds.
Why are you wanting to criticize Ults that require things to go right to obtain & make work.
Yet not ults like MoonKnights, Luna, Mantis? Gold mentality on full display
EDIT: They're a Gold 1 S1, Silver 2 S0, I must be a prophet. SMFH
The biggest thing Spider-Man truly needs is a reload mechanic for his web cartridges. This would make his gameplay more consistent and less frustrating without making him overpowered.
because he's an OW genji main, and if his favorite hero isn't a broken untouchable 1v6 machine he isn't happy
Currently, Spider-Man can be challenging for average players due to his reliance on cooldowns and resource management. By adding a reload mechanic or slight adjustments, it could help him be more consistent without making him stronger. It would allow casual players to enjoy his gameplay without the frustration of running out of web cartridges at critical moments.
Making Spider-Man more approachable doesn’t mean making him unbeatable. It just means allowing a wider audience to enjoy the character without sacrificing what makes him fun for high-level players.
