They need to add a category for it, but then the question becomes: how to prove it.
I mean if someone comes in with 7 hours total in the game and plays like a GM level BP, it doesn't take a rocket scientist.
Also, the "punishment" could just be assigning them to their appropriate rank, which would fix the problem but not damage the account long term.
We can't punish that, because it may be a mistake.
Game should have placement matches or rank "smurfs" faster giving them better opponents and allowing them to carry, providing like 80pts so they don't disrupt experience for other players as much.
What is smurfing? I swear I've heard it before...
Smurfs are worse than cheaters, as they have both top level skills AND game knowledge, while cheaters only have artificial skill. Smurfs can't get detected and banned like cheaters (even worse is that if they're a content creator they even get payed for it.)
Smurfs are worse than toxic players, cause you can just mute/ignore toxicity.
Smurfs are worse than trolls, because they just ruin the experience with no chance for potentially funny moments. But they are pretty similar and some trolls can be a bit worse.
Smurfs are worse than leavers, because it's better to have a medium disadvantage then such a huge advantage it becomes boring. Same for both allies and enemies.
I'd rather play 10 matches with/against any of these before touching a match with a smurf.
So they level an account to be ranked ready in a game, and stomp low ranks for one of the prior reasons before repeating it once their rank gets too high. Most commonly creators do "Unranked to Top rank" videos with a random character, for "educational purposes" so people can watch how to fight those their rank/how those in a rank act.
So they're pretty much Logan Paul?
